All Data Based Directions resource handbooks are designed to keep costs low for schools. Schools purchasing a copy of any publication receive the rights to make copies for all staff, parents and students within that school. The copy purchased is the School Master Copy. District Offices may make purchases of Data Based Directions' resources for review purposes, without photocopy rights.  Bulk purchase discounts may be available. Resource Centres/Libraries may make purchases of Data Based Directions' resources for reference purposes only, without photocopy rights.  Circulation of Data Based Directions materials to schools are for review purposes only.  Schools can then purchase school master copies, with photocopying rights.  Universities/Colleges may make purchases of Data Based Directions' resources for instructional purposes, with limited, in-class photocopy permission.  Students in universities and colleges can purchase personal copies for their own use.
